Treasurer’s Report for the year ended 30 September 2023
Greener Kemnay ended the year in a good financial position. The accounts included with the agenda give the detail for the transactions for the year. In summary we received a total of £13,401 of income, and spent £11,288, resulting in a surplus of income over expenditure of £2,113.
The main item of income was a £11,259 grant from the 2022/23 Participatory Budgeting Fund for thermal imaging and related equipment, and the main item of expenditure was £9,960 for that equipment.
Thus our cash reserves increased by £2,113 from £4,974 to £7,087. This total is split across a number of specific funds, namely
The community garden fund £113
The bird fund £77
The COOP fund £1,185, which is used for events
The energy fund £3,263 which will be used for training in the use of the equipment The unrestricted fund £2,449 which is used for everything else
